A little bit about me, the face behind the emails, social media posts and ultimately here to greet you when you arrive for your very first appointment.
For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Lisa, and I have had my bridal boutique now for 11 years. After leaving Kingdown Sixth Form, and before venturing off on my own, I worked for the Gold & Platinum Studio in Bath for nearly 4 years which I loved. I didn’t feel university was for me so I went straight into retail to gain valuable experience and of course to save up for future aspirations! Having come from a family business background (Beeline Coaches, which is my Dad and my Uncle's business) I always knew I wanted to work for myself so it was something I was always going to strive for. Of course it was very nerve wracking and a huge risk but one that has paid off massively for me and I haven’t looked back - with the help of my wonderful Mum of course, who I couldn’t do it without. My best friend was married over ten years ago and after being fairly disappointed with the whole ‘wedding dress experience’ it’s what inspired me to open my store.
I work very closely with 4 of my favourite bridal designers Agnes Fashion Group, Kenneth Winston who have been nothing but supportive since day one, and more recently 2 British brands – Nicola Anne Bridal & Stephanie Allin Couture. We are able to offer a bespoke service to our customers whereby we are able to make design changes no matter how big or small so you can all have your perfect dress. By all means not everyone goes down this route, lots of you love the dresses just as they are, but the option to be able to do this I feel makes us stand out from the crowd, and of course our renowned customer service is just as important too. Some of my customers have actually become friends which is just the best!
When I’m not working I absolutely love to travel, keep fit and spend lots of time with the best family and friends. I’m also a bit of a softie with my pets so you’ll be guaranteed to see them popping up in my posts occasionally too! We have a new member of the team too – Hudson the Cockapoo who is always waiting for cuddles after your appointment!
We have recently been voted ‘Bridal Retailer of the Year’ for the South-West region so you will be in great hands!
